Terms and Conditions
A- Booking and Enrolment
1. Minimum age for enrolment is 16 unless otherwise specified in the course description.
2. Booking confirmation: On receipt of the completed application form and deposit, we will send you the confirmation of the booking.
3. A printable invoice and an acceptance letter will be issued by email.
4. Registration, deposit and enrolment for any of our courses serve as a binding agreement to pay the full fees

6. All fees must be received before beginning of the course.
7. All changes to courses initiated by the student sustain an administration fee of £50.
8. Books are not included in course fees. Students are expected to buy their own course-books. Course fees do not include travel expenses, accommodation, airport pickup service, external examination fees, personal and health insurance, bank charges or course materials (e.g. books, cassettes, photocopies, pens, pencils and paper).
9. R & B will not be held responsible for any post that is lost or delayed.
10.Postponement fee: You must give a minimum of one week's notice if you are forced to postpone the start of your course. If such notice is not given the normal fees may be charged. If you postpone more than once then a further administration fee will be charged.
B - Payment Methods & Refunds Policy & Taking Holidays
1. A deposit of 20% is required within 7 days of a booking request being made in order to secure a place. Failure to do so may lead to a place being allocated to someone else. For short courses (ten weeks or less), the balance of the fees is due at enrolment for Home Students.
2. For longer courses, full course fees are due before arrival to the UK at enrolment process. All fees must be paid in pounds sterling. You may pay by bank transfer, credit card, cheque or cash. Any bank charges applicable are for the sender to pay.
3. No refunds will be made once the student’s course has started. Tuition fees will not be refunded for early departure, absence or illness once a course has started. No refunds or credit will be given for early departure, absence or illness during the course or for a reduction in previously booked hours. You are recommended to take insurance to cover this. If a refund or credit is agreed, it is at the discretion of the Directors of R&B Academia of Communications, and in all cases an administration fee will be charged.
4. Please note that some of our courses are non-refundable.
5. Students forfeit tuition fees if they are ill, absent or leave the course before the end date.
6. No refunds will be given if a student is excluded from class due to their late arrival.
7. Once the course has started cancellations cannot be made and all fees are due.
8. There is no reduction in fees or refund for holidays taken within the course.
9. Applications for refunds must be received a minimum of two weeks before the course start date.
10. The student must send their original Letter of Acceptance, a full copy of their passport & original receipts.
11. If the fees were paid for by credit card, the refund will be made minus 5% from the total amount paid.
12. Refunds can only be made to the person that initially made the payment.
13. Refunds are sent out 30 days after ALL required documents have been received.
C - Attendance
1. Students are required to comply with Home Office regulations regarding attendance. R & B reserves the right to finish the student’s course.
2. Students are expected to attend lessons regularly. Any absence should normally only be for illness or an authorised holiday. R&B Academia of Communications will only issue a course completion certificate if attendance has been satisfactory.
3. Students must take all progress tests and complete all assignments that are part of the course.
4. Students should arrive for lessons on time.
5. R & B reserves the right to suspend, expel and refuse admission to any student without refund in the event of misconduct, unsatisfactory attendance or work.
6. R & B reserves the right to alter courses, course fees, timetables or location of study at its judgment.
7. R & B reserves the right to split, merge, or cancel a class at any time.
8. R & B reserves the right to change the teacher of each class at any time.
9. Students wishing to have a planned period of absence must give two weeks' notice. If the student is taking a minimum course of ten weeks, the course can be extended (subject to availability).
10. Students should arrive for lessons on time as late arrival at the start of the class or after breaks is disruptive to the class as a whole. Late entry to a class is at the discretion of R&B Academia of Communications.
D - General
1. R & B all students are expected to behave in a respectful and orderly manner.
2. R & B will keep student records on its computerised database. It is the student’s responsibility to keep us informed of all changes in personal circumstances.
3. R & B will not be held responsible for changes introduced by the Home Office which might affect the status of any student.
4. In the case of misconduct, students will be held personally responsible for any costs or criminal charges their behaviour incurs.
5. R & B will not be held responsible for loss or damage to private property.
6. R & B is not responsible for providing parking or storage for students.
7. No smoking on R & B’s premises.
8. No food or drink (other than water) may be consumed in the classrooms.
9. All mobile phones must be switched off during lessons.
E - Validity
These terms and conditions replace all previously published terms and conditions
F - Insurance
We strongly recommend that every student takes out insurance to cover such events as: Cancellation or Curtailment of the course booked, due to serious illness or accidental injury before your arrival; Loss of personal effects, loss of passport or tickets, medical expenses and repatriation; Personal liability and Personal Accident. Failure to do so could cause serious problems in the case of an emergency. R&B does not accept responsibility for any loss or injury however caused.
